Here’s a random web site that’s interesting. A young Ukrainian woman takes us on a motorcycle tour of the dead zone near Chernobyl. She has amazing pictures of whole cities abandoned, left as they were on April 26, 1986 when the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. I think this Soviet failure is not known well enough in the West. As many as 400,000 people have died from the incident, some immediately and many in the years after from radiation. Many will continue to die from cancer and other radiation illnesses.
The Ghost Town is almost like one of those post-apocalyptic movies, but it’s real. Check it out.
