“7 conservative Anglican leaders refuse to take Holy Communion with head of U.S. church”
Seven conservative Anglican leaders refused Friday to take Holy Communion with the head of the U.S. branch of the church, who supports ordaining gays and blessing same-sex unions, as the fellowship struggles to avert a split.
The boycott came at the six-day meeting of leaders of the 77-million-member Anglican Communion.
“We are unable to come to the Holy Table with the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church because to do so would be a violation of Scriptural teaching and the traditional Anglican understanding,” the archbishops said in a posting on the Church of Nigeria web site.
Poor Bishopess Kate Schori gets no respect from the boy’s club. All of us uneducated Katlicks feel so bad for her.

This uneducated Katlick sort of envies the Anglicans who have seven bishops who will take a united stand against feminism. I wonder how us Katlicks could get seven of those for ourselves?
I don’t think the issue for them is Schori’s sex but rather the positions of the organization she represents on issues of sexual morality. If you opposed women bishops, you could still receive communion with a woman bishop as long as she wasn’t functioning in a liturgical role that required Orders.
